VOLKSWAGEN COMMERCIAL VEHICLE – TBYB PROMOTION TERMS
TRY BEFORE YOU BUY TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“PROMOTION”)
- This Promotion runs from 1 May 2022 to 31st December 2025 inclusive (“Promotional Period”).
- The promoter of this Promotion is Volkswagen Financial Services UK Limited trading as Volkswagen Financial Services Rent-a-Car of Brunswick Court, Yeomans Drive, Blakelands, Milton Keynes, MK14 5LR (“Rent-a-Car”) in conjunction with participating Rent-a-Car location(s) in this Promotion in Great Britain (“Promotion Location”).
ELIGIBILITY TO USE THIS PROMOTION
- Subject to Condition 4 to 7 (inclusive) and 9 to 11(inclusive), in order for you to be eligible for this Promotion, you must:
- hire a Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle from a Promotion Location using the Rent-a-Car website www.vwfsrentacar.co.uk (“Rental”);
- comply with the Rent-a-Car rental terms and conditions https://www.vwfsrentacar.co.uk... and any other terms and conditions presented by the Rent-a-Car location in relation to the Rental;
- purchase a new or used approved Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle (“Vehicle”) from the same Promotion Location that you hired the Vehicle from (“Purchase Location”);
- notify the Purchase Location that you intend to claim this Promotion before entering into any discussions on a purchase of a Vehicle; and
- confirm your order by signing the Purchase Locations order form within 30 days of the expiry of the Rental hire period (“Purchase”).
- Proof of hire(s) must be provided to the Purchase Location by quoting your Rent-a-Car booking reference number(s).
- A maximum of 7 day hire can be claimed under this Promotion (“Qualifying Period”). The 7 day hire can either be taken all together or at different times. All period of hire must be taken within 30 days of the Purchase.
- There is a limit of only one Purchase under this Promotion per Qualifying Period.
- Any Purchase made outside of the Promotion Period will not be eligible for this Promotion.
REFUND OF THE HIRE.
- After the Purchase of the Vehicle the Purchase Location will refund the Rental for the Qualifying Period by a payment method decided by the Purchase Location (i.e. card, cash or cheque) to you.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- This Promotion is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at any time without notice. This Promotion has no cash alternative and cannot be transferred or assigned.
- Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle hire from any other rental provider or non-participating Rent-a-Car location is excluded.
- This Promotion may not be used in conjunction with any other promotions or corporate rates in relation to the Purchase from the Purchase Location, which are excluded from this Promotion.
- The Purchase is subject to you complying with the relevant assessment criteria prior to the order date. Rent-a-Car shall not be responsible for any loss you may incur in relation to:
- the Purchase Location refusing your purchase whether such refusal is reasonable or not;
- the Purchase being cancelled by you or the Purchase Location.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees or agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Promotion except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its employees or agents or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
