Options for your van & campervan rental

Additional Driver

Additional Driver

If you are travelling with other people you might want to share the driving of your rental vehicle. All our prices are quoted for just one person being the main driver of the vehicle. There are different options for adding an additional driver to your booking and you can do this when booking online by selecting from the drop-down under ‘Additional Driver’ in the ‘Options’ section of the booking.

Additional Drivers will cost £15 per day (incl. VAT), if they are of a different age bracket to the main driver then they may not be able to drive the vehicle you have selected. Only the age ranges able to drive the vehicle you have selected will be available in the drop-down menu. If the age bracket you require isn’t showing then you will need to choose a different vehicle. You can see here which vehicle types have restrictions.

Collision Damage Waiver

Enhanced Collision Damage Waiver (ECDW)

If you want to reduce the amount of excess you are liable for, should you be in an accident or if the vehicle is stolen, you can do so by adding our optional ECDW. This will reduce your liable excess costs.

Our daily rental prices include VAT and Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) as standard. If you want to reduce your standard excess further, you can choose our optional Enhanced Collision Damage Waiver (ECDW) when you get to step 3 of the booking. This will cost an additional £15 per day (incl. VAT).*

Read more about this on our options and insurance page.

*Please note: This option may not be offered by all retailers. Please contact your chosen retailer for more information. Excess liable for payment is based per incident.

Travel Abroad

Travel Abroad

If you are planning to take your rental vehicle abroad there will be an additional fee of £25 per day. This is to cover the cost of the paperwork that we have to provide in order for you to be covered in Europe and also to ensure that we can get you and the vehicle back to the UK should anything happen. At this time we can only cover the vehicle if travelling within Europe. We cannot allow our vehicles to be driven anywhere outside of Europe.

Insurance

All of our retail prices are inclusive of VAT and collision damage waiver (CDW). Our collision damage waiver means we secure and cap your excess as standard. For information across van and campervan models, please see below.

If you want to reduce your standard excess further, you can choose our optional Enhanced Collision Damage Waiver (ECDW) when you get to step 3 of the booking. This will cost an additional £15 per day.*

Read more about this on our options and insurance page.

*Please note: This option may not be offered by all retailers. Please contact your chosen retailer for more information. Excess liable for payment is based per incident.

What’s included in your collision damage waiver:

Break-down recovery

Available across the UK – 24/7 phone number to call for assistance for a breakdown, or an accident.

Windscreen and Glass damage

These are covered, but you will be liable for the applicable excess.

Tyre wear

This is covered under fair wear and tear, anything outside of this you will be liable for the applicable excess.

Excess

Applicable excess to pay on any new damage that is on the vehicle when you bring it back. This could be your own fault or that of a third party (somebody else damages the rental car whilst in your care). If the damage is less than your applicable excess you will just be charged for the cost of the repair, not the full excess.
